view from Sinek bridge
I crossed the Sinek bridge on foot yesterday! Something I haven’t done for ages. Stood in the middle and snapped a photo of the Tigris with my phone’s camera, all the while humming Snow Patrol’s ‘Take Back the City’.
God knows you’ve put your life into it’s hands
And it has both cradled you and crushed
But now it’s time to make your own demands
